This is a small mini mart that serves made-to-order Middle Eastern food. Their chicken shawerma sandwich is absolutely outstanding. The owners marinate the chicken themselves and cook it to order, served on pita with onions, parsley, and tahini. The falafel is also excellent -- again, a homemade mix, fried to order. They also sell gyros, and other hot platters as well as cold dishes such as hummus and tabbouli, again homemade. Although we've gotten takeout from there several times, we're so addicted to the shawerma and the falafel that we haven't been able to bring ourselves to try much else.
The mini mart section seems about as well stocked as your typical corner mini mart (which is to say, not very well) but contains a decent selection of Middle Eastern ingredients.
The service is usually fairly slow, even if there are no other customers, so it's best to call in your order 20 min in advance or so. The menu is confusing -- there are 2 or 3 menus on the walls, a paper take-out menu, and a bunch of individual signs, and none of them seem to agree.
The family that runs this place is also extremely nice and it's the kind of place you enjoy patronizing.
